Nora Vance spent eight years in apparel merchandising before moving to editorial, where she has covered collections, fit and sizing for sixteen years. She founded Joyagoo Collection Journal in 2019 in Portland, Oregon, to keep product research tied to garments the desk had actually ordered and worn. She signs off on every score and runs the retest calendar.

Fit testing across body types, seam and fabric behavior, wash durability

Desmond Okafor worked as a fit technician for an outdoor apparel brand before joining product testing, and has covered garment fit and construction for nine years. At Joyagoo Collection Journal he runs the three-person fit panel, measures every garment flat and on body, and writes most of the outfit comparisons.
